The challenge

Voodoo and BeReal were scaling fast but struggling to hire senior Product and Data profiles. Internal recruiters were stretched thin, job boards weren't surfacing the right caliber of candidates, and time-to-fill was dragging past 60 days.

Our approach

We embedded as a senior recruiter inside both teams. Full access to Slack, ATS, and hiring manager calendars. We rebuilt the sourcing engine from scratch: new channels, new outreach sequences, new screening criteria. We redesigned interview processes to reduce candidate drop-off and speed up decisions.

This wasn't advisory from the outside. We operated as part of the team, attending standups, syncing with hiring managers weekly, and owning the full pipeline from first message to signed offer.

The result

15+ hires closed across Product Management, Data Science, and Data Engineering in 6 months. Average time-to-fill dropped to under 3 weeks. Offer acceptance rate held at 95%. Both teams went from reactive hiring to a structured, repeatable recruitment engine.
